Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an's team officially celebrated his inauguration anniversary today. Since taking office, Chiang Wan-an has emphasized that he will create a "service-oriented government" that stands with the people, puts citizens at the core, and provides the best services to build a better Taipei, transforming the city into a "sustainable and inclusive capital of hope."

Director of the Department of Social Welfare, Yao Shu-wen, said that the Department of Social Welfare actively promotes services and builds various social welfare centers to assist parents, aid the elderly, and deliver care. These services include the launch of the "2U Pregnancy" taxi service policy, improvement of family childcare services, resumption of the payment of Double Ninth Festival gift money for the elderly, subsidies for home safety facilities for the elderly (24-hour emergency rescue system & simple home repair subsidies), construction of daycare centers, and establishment of the "Me Too" victim service hotline, as well as services to care for local vulnerable groups.

Looking back on 2023 and looking forward to 2024, Team Taipei will continue to improve its services while soliciting opinions from many parties. Mayor Chiang Wan-an's team looks forward to continuing to work hard with citizens, doing our best for the city, and delivering more warmth and love.
