Sense of Special Occasion a Must in Spite of Raging Pandemic! Down Syndrome Foundation Donates Mother's Day Cake Gift Boxes to Celebrate Mother's Day for Mothers from Underprivileged Families & Those with Disabled Children

To help mothers from underprivileged households have a happy Mother's Day, the Down Syndrome Foundation R.O.C. donated more than 2,000 Mother's Day cake gift boxes, which were gifted to families in need via the Department of Social Welfare, Taipei City Government. Recipients included disabled citizens, senior citizens, families in hardship, new immigrants, low-income households, middle-to-low-income households and families living in near poverty in the city. The move served as encouragement for mothers from underprivileged families, allowing them to feel heart-warming blessings during these difficult times.
