Adjustment of Assistive Device Subsidy Policy in Taipei City: The Assistive Technology Centers are now in charge of the Full Compensatory Advance Payment of Long-Term Care Assistive Device Subsidy , and the Integration of Disabled Assistive Device Subsidy and Reimbursement
To align with the long-term care policy of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, a contract and advance payment will be required for the city’s Long-Term Care Assistive Device Subsidies starting May 1, 2023. If you are in need of the Long-Term Care Assistive Device Subsidy, please obtain an approval number from the Assistive Technology Centers, then purchase or lease from the city’s designated vendors. For your convenience, we have implemented a one-stop service. The three Assistive Technology Centers in the city will approve the assistive device subsidies for the disabled application and reimbursement instead of the Division of Welfare Services for the Disabled of the Department of Social Welfare as of May 1, 2023.
