Taipei City Government Obtained Sufficient Budget to Subsidize Low-income Households to Purchase Rapid Test Kits

In response to the escalating COVID-19 pandemic and rising infections across Taiwan, the Taipei City Government has sought funds for COVID-19 relief from the Civil Disaster Relief & Donation Committee for Major Disasters in Taipei City to subsidize low-income households in Taipei City with NT$500 per person to purchase rapid test kits. This will lighten the economic burden on underprivileged households during the pandemic. The endeavor is expected to benefit nearly 45,000 low-income citizens in Taipei City.
