Taipei City Launches the Maternity Taxi Service: Highest Subsidy Amount Nationwide, Convenient and Thoughtful Application Process, Longest Grant Validity Period, and Most Electronically Done Subsidy Model
At the press conference on the launch of Taipei City’s Maternity Taxi Service subsidy policy, Mayor Chiang Wan-an led the heads of relevant departments, representatives of collaborating fleets, and representatives of collaborating obstetric medical institutions to gift high-quality transportation services and cab allowance to expectant mothers in the city. The Maternity Taxi Service subsidy provides pregnant women with a cab allowance of 8,000 NTD per pregnancy, taking care of the safety of mother-to-bes during pregnancy and reducing the traffic burden.
