At the 69th United Nations Commission on the Status of Women and the NGO Committee on the Status of Women side event in 2025, Taipei City Government hosted three parallel events for the first time, focusing on women's empowerment, LBTI+ workplace inclusion, and transgender-friendly spaces. These events attracted the participation of more than 200 international gender equality advocates, showcasing Taipei's diverse strategies and international connections to promote gender equality, and leading cities such as New Taipei, Taoyuan, and Kaohsiung to take joint action to expand Taiwan's influence on global gender issues.
