Listening attentively and providing warm companionship: the Department of Social Welfare and the PSA Charitable Foundation jointly promote a hearing care program to protect the hearing health of the elderly
The Department of Social Welfare, Taipei City Government, has partnered with the PSA Charitable Foundation to launch Taiwan’s first institutional hearing care program. This program trains caregivers and provides hearing screenings, assistive device trials, and hearing rehabilitation services for seniors, enabling the early detection of hearing loss and improving the quality of care. Representatives from various elderly care institutions were invited to participate in the results sharing session, thereby promoting hearing care through exchanges.
