Launched in July 2023, Taipei City Government’s “2U Pregnancy Special Car” transportation subsidy policy has received overwhelming support from citizens and expectant mothers. To mark the policy’s one-year anniversary, the city hosted a special press conference and prize giveaway event, “2U Pregnancy Special Car: Gifts of Gratitude.” A user satisfaction survey showed an impressive 4.7 out of 5 rating from participating mothers. Mayor Chiang Wan-an expressed gratitude to all city departments for their teamwork in delivering a heartfelt service moms can truly feel. He also personally thanked the dedicated driver representatives behind the 2U Pregnancy Special Car service, noting from pregnant passengers’ feedback that their thoughtful care and attentiveness has made the journey a truly heartwarming experience.
