Department of Social Welfare

The Taipei City Department of Social Welfare has promoted the asset accumulation and poverty alleviation project since 2000. As it enters its 25th anniversary, in addition to continuing the spirit of the past projects, it focuses on cultivating the second generation of young people from low-income and lower-middle-income households, allocating relative savings funds to encourage the formation of savings habits, and organizing diversified education courses to assist in career exploration, building financial management knowledge and accumulating workplace internship experience. The new "My Youth Social Participation Era ─ Youth Empowerment Hope Development Account Project" was launched in July 2025. It will actively connect community resources, encourage participation in volunteer services to enhance social care awareness, expand the social support network of participating households, and continue to support the dreams of every young person and help them create their own era.
