Department of Social Welfare

In honor of "2025 International Day of Persons with Disabilities," the Social Welfare Department orchestrated an event centered on the theme of "inner voices—new life." A story contest was held to encourage persons with disabilities to share their journeys of overcoming difficulties in their lives through written works. The awards ceremony also incorporated a stage play titled "The Story of Xiao Yue," performed by We Art Theatre, bringing moving messages to life. Outstanding personnel from disability service providers working in a variety of roles also received accolades during the ceremony. Moreover, awarded stories were transformed into scroll art with the help of AI, with the aim of raising public awareness and support for disability rights through shared performances and empathy.
