Department of Social Welfare

1. According to Article 3 of the Civic Organization Act, the Department of Social Welfare is the Competent Authority of all social entities in Taipei City. For any National Entity, the Competent Authority is the Department of Social Affairs, Ministry of the Interior.

2. The Department of Social Welfare has uploaded the names of all the social entities on the following website, http://www.dosw.tcg.gov.tw/(Chinese), under the section of Civic Organization Services. Citizens can search for an entity by using the search engines, and select its category, such as Economic Entity, Medical Entity, Religious Entity, etc. If the category is unknown, please search the entity by key word.
