"Climate Change, Just Transition, Social Welfare, and Collaboration": Department of Social Welfare Welcomes NGOs to Collaborate in Establishing Forward-Looking Thinking at 2024 Budget Briefing
The Department of Social Welfare, Taipei City Government held the "2024 Major Policy and Budget Briefing Session" on March 18 to explore the influence and impact of climate change on the social welfare system. In addition to allowing for the exchange of special reports, the briefing session was organized into seven major themes, with experts from different fields leading the participants in group discussions. The discussions aimed to actively address the issue of a just transition to net zero, following the principle of "leaving no one behind," to create a livable and sustainable city together.
