Office for Gender Equality Marks 10th Anniversary with Taipei’s First Gender Equality & Human Rights Fair; Mayor Chiang Wan-an: “Color Taipei is More Beautiful Than Ever — Advancing a New Standard of Diversity and Inclusion”
Marking its 10th anniversary, the Office for Gender Equality of Taipei City hosted a launch event celebrating a decade of progress in gender advocacy across city departments. The outcomes of gender mainstreaming were showcased through poster displays. Sixteen themed mission game booths were set up, covering topics such as sexual harassment prevention, gender equity in sports, and LGBT+ inclusion. Nearly 500 city employees and citizens joined the festivities. Mayor Chiang Wan-an attended the kickoff ceremony and actively participated in the interactive booths, affirming the city’s achievements and reiterating that “Color Taipei” will continue to champion a new vision of diversity and inclusion.
