03 Department of Social Welfare, Taipei City Government, holds the grand opening of the Taipei City Parenting Resource Center, which offers services such as rental of infant and child materials from the center’s collection, provision of sites and services for events and exhibitions, sharing of materials and information among parents.

05 Taipei City Yangming Home for the Disabled wins an “Excellent” rating in the 9th National Disabled Welfare Organization Evaluation by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
20 Taipei City Haoran Senior Citizens Home holds a press conference for the grand opening of the Integrated Senior Clinic and Yi An Ju. In collaboration with the Yangming branch of Taipei City Hospital, the clinic offers an integrated service for senior citizens. A first for Taiwan.

01 Taipei City Center for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault sets up temporary child care service at Taipei District Court in order to relieve parents in attendance in court. This is a first for Taiwan.
22 Grand opening of Taipei City Social Welfare Department’s Hsuang-yuan Community Public Nanny initiative. The small-scale nursery center offers a cozy family environment with three nannies taking care of up to ten children. It is a first in Taiwan.
